- Minimize the stress and anxiety of your commute by taking an alternate route. Even if it takes a little longer, the change of pace or scenery can help you arrive at your destination more relaxed.
- Get 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night. The right amount of rest will help you be more alert in traffic, improve your reaction time and eliminate your need for too much caffeine which can make you more agitated in traffic.
- Exercise daily to reduce stress. Emotional stress not only takes a toll on your heart it can cause premature aging.
