Mission & Vision
The Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation provides the means through which the case for philanthropy will be articulated. The work of the Foundation will sometimes react to, may drive, but will ideally be an integral part of the system's plans for growth.
OUR MISSION
“To meet the mental health and special education priorities in the communities we serve through the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health by encouraging and facilitating philanthropic generosity and the spirit of volunteerism so that we are recognized as a center of excellence in behavioral healthcare.”
THE VISION
The PRBH Foundation will be recognized as a leader in supporting and promoting Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health's mission to improve the behavioral health and special education needs of our diverse community. The Foundation recognizes that donor support helps create the margin of excellence that distinguishes Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health and its parent, Adventist HealthCare, Inc. from other behavioral health care providers and special education schools in the community, the state, and the nation.
As a leader, we are a catalyst for change within our organization and community. The Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation will actively support internal and external initiatives that promote exceptional behavioral health care and special education through Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health, The Ridge School, the Residential Treatment Center, and the Group Homes. It also supports the organization’s many preventive, educational, research, and community outreach activities.
As a leader, we actively collaborate with key individuals, organizations, and corporations to address community needs. The Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation honors the generous community support we have received. It builds upon this historic support by developing collaborative relationships with those who share the organization’s mission and vision.
The Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation demonstrates exemplary stewardship and integrity by honoring donor intent, providing appropriate recognition for donor generosity, valuing our human and material resources, and inspiring confidence through our leadership and commitment to improving the behavioral health and special education needs of the community.
