What We Do Together

Donors to the Potomac Ridge Behavioral Health Foundation improve the lives of those facing mental illness by enabling PRBH to provide the very best in treatment and research for our clients. Your donations, whether current or deferred, will help us to continue fulfilling our mission into the next century.

Our donors pave the way for innovation and discovery, and enable PRBH health professionals to respond quickly and effectively to needs and opportunities as they arise, assuring that our ongoing needs will be met. Initiatives in client care are just one of the areas where our donors have opened doors to better care and research.

Your gifts have helped us to continue meeting families' needs through the Transportation and Lodging Fund. Since this fund was established in April, 2003 with generous donations from PRBH employees, we have helped 32 families by arranging transportation and/or lodging enabling them to participate in activities ranging from treatment planning to weekend visits.

Recently, money raised from a raffle, a suite at the MCI Center, generously donated by the Kimsey Foundation, will be supporting construction of a new, state of the art, 12-bed inpatient Children's Unit.

In addition to raising funds, together we create a better world for those facing mental illness and addiction by increasing awareness and acceptance of these conditions. Our annual giving program, Circle of Champions, helps to fight the stigma surrounding mental illness and addiction.
