From Washington, DC and points south of Rockville:
From I-495 take I-270 North toward Rockville. Take Exit #8/Shady Grove. The exit comes to a stoplight where you will turn left onto Shady Grove Road. Cross over the bridge and turn right at the fifth stop light onto Medical Center Drive (you can see the hospital at this point). At the stop sign, turn left. Make a right at the hospital entrance.
From Frederick and areas north of Gaithersburg:
From I-270 traveling south, take Exit #8/Shady Grove Road. Stay to the right to merge onto Shady Grove Road. At the fourth traffic light, turn right onto Medical Center Drive. At the stop sign, turn left. Make a right at the hospital's main entrance.
Accessing Emergency Services
After turning onto Medical Center Drive, continue straight after the stop sign and follow signage to the Emergency Department entrance.
Campus Parking
When visiting Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, please use the visitor parking lots at the main entrance of the hospital. All patient/visitor lots on campus will require payment comparable to what other county hospitals charge. There is a 20 minute grace period to allow for drop off and pick up. The paid parking system will accept cash and all major credit cards. Parking fees will be $1.50 per hour with a $5.00 maximum per visit. Pay-on-Foot pay Stations are located at all of the Main Lobbies.
Accessing the Hospital by Metro or Ride-On Bus
A new entrance drive now guides patients and visitors to the hospital's main entrance. You may access the Ride-On Bus stop next to the main hospital entrance.
