Dedicated to Cancer Care

Taking that first step after being diagnosed with cancer can be an overwhelming task. Shady Grove Adventist Hospital assists patients and their families in making informed decisions and provides them with the expert, compassionate care each one of them deserves. Our experienced staff, combined with the new patient care unit in Shady Grove’s new Tower will create a superior healing environment for patients and families.

The new unit will be dedicated entirely to cancer services, with more personal space for cancer patients in the private rooms. The focus will be on each patient’s safety and their overall well being.

In addition to the medical care provided by our cancer experts, the cancer team also includes the services of a Social Worker, Nurse Educator, and a Cancer Care Navigator. The team works together with the patient and family, coordinating services including support groups, financial assistance, caregiver resources and more.

We feel very proud to be able to provide our community this kind of care, in this environment—and so close to home.
