More Space for Care
Within the Community

Dear Neighbors,

After years of planning and building, we will welcome our first patients into Shady Grove Adventist Hospital’s new tower on November 19th. This new space expands our ability to provide exceptional health care within our rapidly growing community.

The new tower augments our ability to provide superior patient care in an enhanced healing environment. We have taken steps to include the latest technology in quality and safety for both patients and staff.

We are also particularly pleased that our new Mother/Baby Unit will feature 48 private rooms where new families will have their own space to get acquainted in the special days following the arrival of a new baby.

The design of our new tower also includes innovative features that will allow our patient care staff to remain closer to patients—a change that enhances the patient and staff experience. For example, instead of traditional nursing stations, our tower has many smaller nursing stations that are closer to the patient rooms.

More features of our new tower are highlighted throughout this special issue of Health Advisor. Also, please join us on December 3rd as we celebrate the opening of the tower with the entire community. We are committed to excelling in quality and safety.
