High-Level Care for
You and Your Newborn

By delivering your baby at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, you have access to our Level III-B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), should it be needed. A Level III-B NICU provides high level intensive care for newborns. In fact, other area hospitals frequently transport newborns who need expert care to our facility. There is 24-hour coverage by boardcertified neonatologists, perinatologists, pediatricians, and anesthesiologists, and the dedicated nursing staff is available to assist families through this experience.

Celebrating our 8th Annual NICU Reunion

On Sunday, October 14, 2007, we held our 8th annual NICU Reunion and Carnival. Many of the families and babies we’ve had the privilege of caring for joined us for a great time with sweet treats, a moon bounce, and train rides. It was a proud moment for all of us to see so many healthy, happy children that had in a short time touched our lives so deeply.
