• My heart often goes fast (up to 260bpm on event monitor) causing me to pass out. Some say it is SVT others say VT. 3 EP studies (looking at both sides of the heart) have all been neg. I just had a baby 8 mos ago and occasionally, I go to pick her up and my heart speeds up and I pass out. Each EP Dr. was sure they could find the problem area and ablate it. Dr's are hesitant to put in a defibrillator, meds aren't helping. It really scares me. Any thoughts?

• I am 42 years old, 6ft. 4 in. tall and weigh 200 lbs. My total cholesterol level is 90. I am not on any cholesterol lowering medications or any medication at all. Should I be concerned that my total cholesterol is so low.

• I'm 26, had several episodes of palps over 6 months, one precipitated by a hangover, one post-coital and two when just lying in bed. Last happened despite no caffeine / alcohol for 2 weeks. I caught one on ECG. Irregular QRS rate 100-120, occasional P wave but no regular association to QRS, sometimes very short PR if present. RBBB pattern. Spontaneously cardioverted after 2 hours. ECG then NSR, normal PR/QT and no delta, no BBB! Getting an echo/event/consult but what's the differential?

• I am a 21 yr old female suffering from very bad off and on left arm pain and chest discomfort and somtimes pain under left breast starting from chest around to side(under breastbone) I have been too er numerous of times and they all tell me either, gerd and one told me piched nerve. They also did a EKG each time and i also got a xray which both came back normal. It scares me because my grandma just died of a heart attack in May 08. I want to know what could be causing this problem. Thanks!
