Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the phones?
If you need to make an emergency phone call, we will bring a phone to your treatment area. Payphones for visitors are located in the lobby and a courtesy phone is at the information desk.

Is there a play area for a visiting child?
In the main waiting room, we have a pediatric waiting area. There are toys and books for visiting children. An adult must accompany children at all times. Children may not wander in patient rooms or in the hallways.

Will the Pediatric ED provide food for my child?
The staff will provide snacks and beverages as well as formula if the doctor allows it.

Are there items to occupy my child while in the Pediatric ED?
There are TVs by the bedside as well as a portable TV with videos for the children's entertainment. We also have a book cart with reading materials for children.

Where is the bus stop?
We have one located at the front entrance of our hospital. If you are interested in knowing which routes the bus will take, ask the information desk attendants for assistance.

Where do I tell visitors to park?
We have a visiting parking lot directly across from the ED. If you cannot find a spot, there is designated visitor parking in front of our hospital.

Where is the Gift Shop?
The Gift Shop is located on the first floor next to the entrance. Newspapers are available in boxes outside the entrance.
