The Department of Radiology & Diagnostic Imaging at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital provides a full range of imaging services as well as the latest advances in vascular ultrasound and nuclear medicine. Our physicians and staff are committed to providing patients with cutting-edge technology coupled with outstanding customer service and compassionate care. We work to provide a comfortable environment for your exam, including anesthesia capabilities, as well as quick turnaround with same-day exam results.

Advanced imaging equipment is utilized in each section with images digitally archived through a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), thus providing physicians the expedited ability to conveniently review images.

Outpatient Radiology Hours

General Radiology

No appointment is necessary for general radiology services. Walk-ins are welcome but please note that a physician referral slip and insurance authorization are required. Appointments are required for all other services.

Radiology Appointment Scheduling

To schedule a radiology appointment, please call Centralized Scheduling at 240-826-6124 or 866-688-6819 between 8:00am-4:30pm. You may also email  centsched@adventisthealthcare.com for confirmation of appointments or to answer any questions you may have regarding scheduling or insurance coverage.

Radiology Registration & Check-in

Registration is located in the Main Lobby on the first floor of the hospital. Check-in for radiology services is located in the Radiology Department on the second floor for quick and easy access to services. Registration hours are 9:00am-8:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Radiology Check-out

To obtain image copies, please call our film library at 240-826-6070 to request your images and reports.  Our film library is open 8:00am-9:00pm Monday-Friday and 8:00am-8:00pm Saturday and Sunday. Please bring your photo ID and a written authorization from the patient if you are obtaining images for another individual.
